These rules are disclosed to clarify the various responsibilities of all community members here on Famiclub. They shall be adhered to by everyone to ensure that our board runs smoothly and provides a fun and productive experience for all of our community members and visitors.

1. This is a living document that will be modified as needed. Have suggestions on how this can be improved? Send a message to a moderator or admin.
   
   1. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Along these lines, bigotry and discriminatory jokes and language will not be allowed.
   2. This is a safe for work server. No sexual content or explicit gore is allowed. If you are posting art or other creative works which contain content that others may find offensive, please use spoiler tags and descriptive content warnings appropriately.
   3. Doxxing, harassment, or encouraging self harm will not be tolerated.
   4. Be mindful of the personal information you share. Forums are public and will be indexed by search engines. Share personal details at your own risk.
   5. Self-promotion, or sharing of other’s work that is available for purchase is allowed, but should only be posted when it is relevant to the conversation. As a creative community, we want users to share their work freely. However, flagrant and unwarranted self-promotion or advertising is prohibited, especially by those who do not contribute meaningfully to the community.
   Posting guidelines
   
   • Create descriptive topic titles: When creating a new topic, try to make the Subject (i.e., title) of your topic as descriptive as possible. Whether you're asking for help or just starting a conversation, descriptive titles help clarify your topic and also makes it easily searchable on the forum, reducing the likelihood of duplicate topics.
   • Posting immediately after your own last post (with no one else in between) is discouraged. If the new post includes new or different information, please edit the original post.
   • No excessive thread bumping. ("Bumping" a thread means intentionally posting in order to have the thread displayed at the top of the new posts listing.) This creates clutter and frustrates readers.
   • No thread hijacking. If you have a thought that is unrelated to the current thread you are about to reply to, consider starting a new thread instead.
