I recently stumbled across a set of really excellent Mario Paint covers. This one's a gem:
Which reminded me of this album by Louie Zong made entirely in Warioware DIY: https://louiezong.bandcamp.com/album/garlic-jam
Do any of you know of other great music made inside of a video game? Especially chiptune stuff like this, but I'm sure there's also a bunch of great stuff made in MTV Music Generator and the like. (Side note: Something like this could be a fun Famiclub jam...)

Nice!! I've got a couple tracks for a record I haven't finished that were made with a tool in a japanese PS1 game called DEEP that I'm excited to share, uh, eventually!

Oh my gosh, I remember messing around in MTV Music Generator! Haven't thought about that in an age...
As for music inside a videogame, while I wouldn't call this great I would certainly call it fun and quaint. In Stardew Valley there are a couple tile blocks you get as rewards which can pop out a sound when the player walks by them, so of course people are setting up little themed courses and running around.
In others it's very charming to see the structure of songs laid out in pathway, so the player has to actively loop sections to keep the song going, or have their farmer drink coffee to increase the walk-rate to the needed bpm.
