I wish I could fully customise my Haloman without dropping $20 into their weird pre-fab colour and armour parts system.
It's so bad out there -_-

Anyone trying out that F-Zero 99 that just went online? Pretty fun times, and suprisingly quite playable for the amount of players.

Finally started Bomb Rush Cyberfunk and it is pretty neat! Also heard the news about the remastered Tomb Raider Trilogy and am excited about going through those someday (although I've had a modded install of the first one on my computer for a couple years now that I haven't gotten around to, lol).

The first Tom Braider rules so hard. It's the only one I like, haha. Especially on Saturn. Such a beautifully melancholic exploration game that's 100% texture and atmosphere.

(P.S. sorry that's the second time now i've accidentally edited someone else's post instead of quoting it in a reply. That little pencil icon in the admin tools is a mean little trickster.)

Definitely interested in checking out F-Zero 99 but definitely uninterested in re-subbing to Nintendo Switch Online to do it. Oh well.

I tried to play some Starfield on release and was so unenthused by it that I've kinda bounced off video games entirely lately lol (plus some personal life stuff has been busy.

It actually prompted me to play a couple of hours of No Mans Sky again. That game's fun to poke around in sometimes to see what's up.

I might end up grabbing either Baulders Gate 3 or Armored Core VI once I have a bit more spare time in the next few weeks!

BG3 and ACVI are unbelievable, i can't get enough of either

I . . . also started playing through RE5 with a friend, and I finally finished SMT IV: Apocalypse on 3DS, then tried to start a few different JRPGs on my backlog only to realize that i was physically unable because the brain worms demand More Megaten, so I started SMT V lol.

I've been playing Saints Row IV recently. I feel like it's a game that on paper, there's not much that I typically like. But for some reason, I actually kinda love it?? I dunno, it's a big, dumb, goofy blast and I guess that's what I've been in the mood for.

I think that's the one where you're elected as President? I remember having some dumb fun there as well, especially after behaving like a screwball in the character creator

Always a good time to DOOM and Quake. I still need to play through that NIN Ghosts x Quake mod that you told me about. :P

And yes! You're president and you immediately enter a simulation of the city from the previous game. It's a big dumb Matrix parody. But the "none of this is real" in-universe set up goes a long way to justifying all of the nonsense. Just finished it last night at like 97% complete, lol.

Mmmmm I think a playthrough of DOOM (2016) might be in order. I've been smashing the soundtrack heaps while working recently.

I've also been caught in the BG3 trap. I've put like 10 hours or so in since last weekend. The breadth of that game is just incredible already. It's unbelievable how different my early game experience has been compared to a friend who's recently started as well.

It's also got me trying to cook up some different TTRPG action on the side as well. I might try to DM a small group in the coming months.

dude I played through CoD 2 on my XP machine earlier in the pandemic and that game absolutely whips. such an excellent 2000s PC shooter, and wiping out nazis en masse is never not satisfying.

as for Pandora Tomorrow, I've been considering revisiting that one too! just not sure which platform to do. xbox, series x, or windows xp? hmm
