Guys, if you haven't already played it, you've gotta install this. This game is so much fun. I've been having a blast jumping in casually and racing around.
I love the way the game looks, I love the music, I love the different modes, and I love how it's so easy to jump right in. The customization and unlocks are great.
Enjoying it a lot-- for the amount of shit going down on screen, it's astonishing how playable it all remains. Actually saw myself improving and placing a little better on avg. during my time with it. I had been expecting just random chaos, lol.

I haven't played enough of this yet, but as a big fan of the console F-Zero games, this was a very pleasant surprise!! I'm glad it's as chaotic as it is. Got any tips for the meta or whatever? Favorite starter ship? I've always leaned on top speed in F-Zero games and fall back on track memorization to make up for acceleration and handling, which uhhhh sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. But those games didn't have 99 other crafts on the track! Although GX feels like it sometimes, haha.

I have a 1st with each of the machines, a few with Fox, and most with Goose. I think I have 13 total 1st place victories and one mini-prix victory.
I'll say that I think Stingray and Fox are the best if you're playing pretty much perfect, but I think Goose is the best for the rest of us. Goose really needs a KO, or a few KOs to be successful in a GP, but since it can't get bullied by the other machines as much it lets you focus a lot more on just taking all your lines on the track. Recovery is abysmal though, so boost management is really important.
Falcon I use often because there are colors I want to unlock on it, but I think it's a considerable step below the rest.
