Today I'm mad that the logic for which lines and points can and cannot be joined in Illustrator is entirely based on vibes.

Ya' know what! CONSIDERING the all-encompassing years of burnout and assorted societal fires of at least the 3rd and 4th levels of HELL... I actually may just go full monastic-mode, scrub all fonts/etc, and revert back to CS2. Maybe the last era I felt remotely excited about Adobe. Fearful trap of nostalgia be damned, I want the straightforward stand-alone tool set for my goddamn photos and no further distractions.

I've been doing all my work on the same copy of CS6 that I've been using for the last 12 years or so. No ragrets.

In a recent bout of Adobe frustration I decided to give another try to the new Canva-owned Affinity app.

However, when attempting the mandatory account log in, it refused to pop-open my browser so I could log in through their website so I guess.. I just can't use the program at all? Cool beans.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Canva and Affinity are AI hell now. The only move is to get adobe cc from the crime store and firewall it from phoning home.
