Hey!! It's that time of the year again.

Famicase 2026 will be open for submissions on 1 March:

This is a reminder to all of you good people who occasionally check this forum to get started if you want to participate this year

I had a lot of Life Stuff happening last year and completely forgot about it until the deadline had passed, so I'm keen to get back into it this year.

Maybe I'll try to make something Fantasy themed this year. Or just some good ol' Famicase-esque Weird and Cool Graphic Design.

Let us know if you've got any ideas or concepts to throw around!

I'm in at #059. Found out that I couldn't use an llustration at the 11th hour and had to pivot. But I think it turned out ok. Excited to share the before and after.

Anyone else get the impression Famicase participation has gone down? It took all month to finally hit 250 submissions and close. There was a time when the window was only open a few hours. Wonder if the decimation of Twitter had something to do with it.

Yeah, I noticed that, too. (If I knew I had more time I would have went back to the drawing board, lol.) And yeah, I do really think the end of Twitter is related to the decline in participation.
